Before we sold our car, it had to be clean and tidy! Oscar refused to leave...

Eventually we got him out and could sell the van. The happy buyers - two German blokes :-)

Our home in Karrinyup/Perth - we feel good here!!!

The Submarine Ovens at the Maritime Museum in Fremantle - operated till 1991.

The guide was a former crew-member of this submarine. Veeeeery interesting!

The first real golf-game - nine holes in two and a half hours with about 55 hits - not too bad...

Our trip to Rottnest Island

The ride to the island took us just 50 minutes. It's a distance of 18 km.

Someone had to carry Verena's eight pair of shoes and beauty case and and and...;-)

We spotted a lot of wildlife. Amongst other things the King Skink, Quokkas and snakes.

We just enjoyed the bike riding, the weather and the splendid views. Probably our last great trip in Australia, for now :-(

Our accommodation for the night was an old barrack from World War II nowadays used as a YHA hostel.

There are several shipwrecks in the deep waters around the island. The coral reefs are brilliant for snorkeling.
